Junior golfers have a distinct advantage over folks who try to learn golf later in life. Because they are starting the game at an early age, they have an opportunity to build a solid foundation. My junior programs start with the FUNdamentals then add playing strategies, sportsmanship, basic rules and good golf etiquette to give the junior player a well rounded introduction to the game.
We talk about:
Knowledge--Rules and Etiquette
Skills-Grip, Stance and Aim
Strategy--What and How To Practice
Sportsmanship--How To Be A Golfer That Others Want To Play With
Proper Equipment--Do your clubs work for, or against you?
